KiwiCo crates provide science and art projects that inspire kids to become creative problem solvers starting at birth. Each of their product lines include crates of materials and activities that are developmentally appropriate and are built to be just-right for your child’s age and developmental abilities. Each crate is research backed and designed in partnership with experts at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
There are 8 KiwiCo crates to best match your child’s age and interest.
–Panda Crates are for children 0-24 months. The focus of this series of five crates is for the child to explore and discover the world around them according to their age, 0-2 months, 3-6 months, 7-12 months, 13-18 months, and 19-24 months.
–Koala Crates are for children who are 2-4 years old. This crate’s focus is learning through play and includes 2-3 STEAM projects, a parent guide, imagine! Magazine which is filled with stories, puzzles, recipes, and more, and finally online access to DIY activities.
–Kiwi Crates are for children who are 5-8 years old. This crate’s focus is science, art, and more. Each crate comes with everything you need to create STEM projects to inspire problem solving and creativity.
–Atlas Crates are for children who are 6-11 years old. This crate’s focus is geography and culture. With each crate, you receive globally inspired projects to complete, immersive hands-on STEAM activities to help your child connect creatively with other communities and cultures, and everything you need to build your own globally-inspired keepsakes.
–Doodle Crates are for children 9-16+ years old. This crate’s focus is on creating and building crafts. This crate is an introduction to crafting tools, materials, and techniques. It includes everything you need to create including illustrated instructions with design history and inspiration. Also included, are online tutorials with tips and tricks.
–Tinker Crates are for children 9-16+ years old. This crate’s focus is on science and Engineering. Included in this crate is everything you need to build creative and innovative STEM projects. In addition to that you get step-by-step directions to follow and additional science content and activities for you to try on your own.
–Maker Crates are for people ages 14-104. Art and Design are the focus of this KiwiCo crate and includes hands-on projects for you to create. Along with all of the supplies, you will also receive easy-to-follow video instructions to help you bring your vision to life.
–Eureka Crates are for people ages 14-104 who are interested in Engineering and Design. This KiwiCo crate includes all of the necessary supplies to inspire innovators to think about the design and engineering behind everyday objects. Eureka Crates are a deep dive into the science, engineering, and history behind the design.
